The NBA’s gambling scandal is escalating, according to former referee Tim Donaghy. Following the arrests of players Chauncey Billups, Terry Rozier, and Damon Jones for illegal betting linked to an FBI investigation, Donaghy believes the situation could become much more serious. He asserts that these players might cooperate with authorities, potentially uncovering a larger network of corruption. Donaghy warns about the dangers of organized crime in sports betting, noting that gambling addiction can drive risky behavior. He predicts that this scandal is just the beginning and could severely impact the league. The NBA has yet to comment on the recent arrests.
