The Comox Valley Project Watershed Society will hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on July 18, 2026, from 10:30 am to 12 pm at the Civic Room in Courtenay. Keynote speaker Jacqueline Huard will discuss the Forage Fish Project, emphasizing its significance in British Columbia. The AGM will celebrate the completion of restoration at Kus-kus-sum, including the removal of a steel wall reconnecting the site to the estuary, and will feature updates on coastal habitat restoration, forage fish research, youth education, and watershed monitoring. Brodie Guy, board Chair, highlights the community’s commitment to land and water stewardship. Attendance is open to all, with members eligible to vote. Preregistration is required.
