The Watershed Stewards Program (WSP) Corpsmembers offer an educational series called Wonders of Watersheds (WOW!) for 2nd-6th grade Title I classrooms. This series includes five interactive lessons covering topics like salmon life cycles, biodiversity, human impacts on watersheds, and environmental interdependence. Aimed at fostering understanding and stewardship of local environments, the program features activities such as salmon dissections and macroinvertebrate sampling. Students from Lagunitas and Manor Elementary Schools are learning about conservation and environmental science, as WSP prepares to evaluate their comprehension through final lessons and tests.
