The American Relief Act, 2025, allocates $2 billion for emergency relief payments to livestock producers affected by drought, wildfires, and flooding in 2023 and 2024. Producers previously received 35% of the funding for drought and wildfire assistance. Now, the FSA is distributing a second payment of 8.2% of their Livestock Forage Disaster program payment, raising total assistance to over $1.289 billion. For flood losses on non-federally managed lands, producers are receiving 100% of their calculated payments, totaling $604 million. Each program year has a payment limit of $125,000. Producers can apply for a limit increase to $250,000 by submitting Form FSA-510 by Nov. 2, 2026.
