The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) in Denpasar, Bali, has issued a warning for potential extreme weather from April 6-8, 2024, including heavy rains, strong winds, and lightning in various districts. Areas like Karangasem, Klungkung, Tabanan, and Badung are advised to remain alert, with thunderstorms expected to be short-lived. Severe weather conditions could lead to fallen trees, flooding, and landslides. Residents in southern Bali should be cautious of wave heights exceeding two meters. Additionally, a tropical cyclone near the Sawu Sea is anticipated to strengthen, impacting weather across East Java, Bali, and surrounding provinces.
