The CROSSEU project aims to tackle climate change by developing a science-based, user-friendly decision support system that addresses biogeophysical risks and their socio-economic impacts across Europe. It focuses on enhancing resilience against climate risks during the European green transition, providing a climate-sensitive framework and technical recommendations for informed investment and policy responses. The project considers socio-economic risks and opportunities related to climate change through a cross-sectoral approach and delivers practical recommendations for political and societal action, especially in the post-COVID-19 context. CROSSEU integrates complex climate risk data and sectoral information to better inform decision-making, aiming to quantify the costs of socio-economic risks and improve adaptation representation while addressing modelling uncertainties.
