In Mannford, Okla., strong winds have caused rapid wildfires, engulfing trees and threatening homes. Residents like Dakota Morgan, who were evacuated, described the scene as surreal, with local businesses closing due to fire and smoke. Mannford Police Chief Jerry Ridley reported severe damage, with several houses lost and an apartment complex completely destroyed. This fire is being compared to the 2012 fires, which did not result in any home losses within city limits, highlighting the current situation’s severity. Fortunately, there have been no reported injuries so far.
