Lori Jordan, the Fountain County Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) District Coordinator, has graduated from the Indiana Watershed Leadership Academy, an intensive program aimed at improving leadership skills and technical knowledge in watershed management. The Academy, organized by Purdue University with support from conservation agencies, included a series of workshops from January to May, culminating in a ceremony on May 22, 2024. Lori’s achievement reflects her commitment and the district’s mission to enhance natural resource management. The SWCD believes her newly acquired skills will benefit the community in managing soil and water resources. For more information on the SWCD’s initiatives, visit their Facebook page or contact their office in Covington, Indiana.
