The 9th Annual Rio Chama Congreso is scheduled for February 28 and March 1, 2025, at Ghost Ranch near Abiquiu, focusing on riparian health and river restoration in the San Juan-Chama Watershed. The event gathers land and water management practitioners, users, and community members to address natural resource issues. This year, it will coincide with the 2-3-2 Partnership Meeting, which aims to enhance natural fire regimes and improve watersheds for people and wildlife. Participants will engage in a tour of restoration projects and attend a Congreso meeting featuring notable speakers from various natural resource agencies. Attendance is free with prior registration. More information is available at sanjuanchama.org.
