A 10-acre wildfire in Dodge County is under control, according to Interim Fire Chief Malcolm Tyson. The fire, which started Thursday evening on John Broome Road, severely damaged a camper, deemed a total loss. Initially, six structures were threatened, but firefighters successfully contained the blaze. Tyson noted that the fire likely began as a brush fire, spreading to the camper and causing an explosion from propane tanks. The Dodge County Fire Department requested mutual aid, receiving support from neighboring fire departments and state prison units to manage the situation.
