Sheriff Darren Atha of Roger Mills County suspects that three large wildfires near Cheyenne were intentionally set, indicating evidence of arson. Residents are urged to report any suspicious activity to the sheriff’s office. The fires were located near Coyote Hills Road and Highway 47, east of Skipout Lake, and south of Crawford turn off and Highway 33.
