The Incline Fire Smart program in Incline Village aims to make the area the most fire-ready community in the Lake Tahoe Basin. It strives to unite groups to enhance wildfire resilience and hopes to set a replicable model for other fire-prone communities across the region and nationwide. The initiative includes innovative tools like a “burn bot” to manage vegetation and reduce fire hazards. The program emphasizes community involvement and aims to promote long-term safety against wildfires.
