The Academy will measure environmental conditions in the Delaware basin and support conservation projects funded by the William Penn Foundation. It will guide research development, assessing various restoration methods and fostering collaboration among conservation groups and scientists. Monthly seminars with Drexel University will promote interdisciplinary efforts in watershed conservation. The Foundation, emphasizing data-driven environmental work, recognizes the Academy’s expertise in hydrological research as vital for monitoring and improving water quality. The Academy’s 70 years of leadership in watershed research supports its role in analyzing and preserving aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems.
