On March 17, 2026, Cooper Feeny and Holly Talbot, master’s students, participated in Delaware River Watershed Hill Day in Washington, DC. The event, organized by the Coalition for the Delaware River Watershed, brought together nearly 40 members to discuss funding and policy issues vital for the watershed’s conservation. They emphasized the watershed’s importance in supplying clean drinking water to 14.2 million people and its economic impact across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Delaware, and Maryland. Feeny and Talbot represented the University of Delaware’s Water Resources Center, linked to the Institute for Public Administration.
