Walla Walla’s Water Day, part of Earth Week activities, will take place on Saturday, April 25, at the Water & Environmental Center from noon to 7 p.m. The event features a variety of free activities focused on the Walla Walla watershed, including lab tours of the Freshwater Mussel Research and Restoration Project, Japanese printmaking demonstrations, and a watercolor exhibit. Notable talks include presentations on the 1996 flood, Mill Creek’s microflora, and the relationship between fungi and water cycles. The event is open to all ages, with snacks provided.
