A wildfire sparked by lightning north of Tuscarora, Elko County, is now 60% contained, affecting 132,604 acres since its start on August 15. While structure protection is in place for ranches along Highway 226, no buildings have been reported lost. The Wilson Reservoir Campground and two others are closed, and Highway 226 is shut down between Highway 225 and Maggie Summit Road. Full containment is expected by August 31.
