California Governor Gavin Newsom criticized President Trump’s executive order aimed at expediting wildfire rebuilding efforts in the state, stating that Trump “hasn’t coordinated or connected with anyone.” During a San Diego press event, Newsom made a bizarre reference to “pissing on the grasshoppers” to critique Trump’s actions. This comment surfaced alongside Newsom’s announcement of his own initiatives to curb fentanyl trafficking across the U.S. border.
