Los Angeles County officials lifted the ocean water quality advisory for beaches affected by recent wildfires. Testing from January to March indicated no dangerous levels of metals or chemicals in ocean water or sand. However, health officials advise caution around beaches near burned areas due to potential harmful debris and recommend avoiding water with visible debris, especially during high tide.
