Lafayette’s Creeks Committee will review updates on the Walnut Creek Watershed Restoration Plan during a special site visit and a regular meeting. Landscape architect Jeanine Strickland will present ongoing restoration efforts in collaboration with local agencies, focusing on habitat, water quality, flood risks, and creek maintenance. The watershed spans 146 square miles and includes various urban and open spaces. The committee will also discuss creek-related projects, grant funding, and outreach programs, along with updates on the West Reach Project. The agenda is available on the City of Lafayette portal, with the regular meeting starting at 7 p.m. in Room 265 at Lafayette City Offices.
