On Tuesday, temperatures rose into the 80s and near 90 degrees, but Canadian wildfire smoke arrived in the afternoon, creating hazy yellowish-brown skies and cooling temperatures by 5 to 10 degrees. Thunderstorms began impacting Northern New England, with damaging winds and hail expected.

For Wednesday, haze from the smoke is anticipated to persist, keeping temperatures slightly lower. A cold front will bring possible light showers, especially in Boston during work hours. It will be hot, with highs ranging from 88 to 95 degrees, but humidity will decrease throughout the day. Winds will pick up to 10–20 mph. Caution is advised for outdoor activities due to heat stress. Overall, conditions will remain breezy and hazy across various regions of New England, with temperatures varying from the upper 70s to low 90s.
