The Academy will measure environmental conditions in the Delaware basin and guide conservation projects funded by the William Penn Foundation. It will identify relevant research questions, such as comparing restoration methods, while fostering collaboration among scientists and conservation groups through monthly seminars with Drexel University. The Academy’s expertise in hydrological research solidifies its role in monitoring water quality and addressing environmental stressors. With over 70 years of experience, the Academy aims to enhance data-driven conservation efforts in the watershed, ensuring interventions are effective and replicable.
