Educators are invited to help create environmental education materials for the Clear Lake region, supported by the UC Davis Center for Community and Citizen Science and the Center for Regional Change. This initiative aims to enhance the health of Clear Lake and its watershed, responding to community needs identified through discussions with over 50 locals and the establishment of a Tribal Environmental Education Advisory Committee.
Draft materials are available for public review and feedback until February 2024. Opportunities for educators include training and piloting these resources with youth, with compensation available. Key dates include public reviews in January-February, training in March, and piloting in April-May. Interested individuals can contact Sarah Angulo for more information and participation.
