Eureka Residents Protected As Iron Fire Rages Uncontrolled In Juab

Firefighters successfully protected homes in Eureka from the Iron Fire, which has burned around 22,000 acres in Juab and Utah Counties. No structures were lost, and overnight efforts focused on property protection. However, the fire remains 0% contained, leading to continued evacuations in Eureka. Governor Cox praised the firefighting efforts, highlighting the tense situation, while Lt. Gov. Henderson lauded local cooperation during evacuations. An evacuation center is open in Elberta for affected residents.
