Oklahoma will experience significant weather impacts on Sunday due to a major cold front, with temperatures dropping from the 60s to the 40s. A red flag warning is in effect from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. due to strong winds, with gusts up to 65 mph in western Oklahoma and 60 mph in central Oklahoma. These conditions pose a heightened wildfire risk, especially critical in southwestern Oklahoma. The fire risk will decrease on Monday but rise again on Tuesday. KOCO 5’s weather team has been recognized for providing the most accurate forecasts in Oklahoma City for 14 years.
