A coalition of attorneys general has filed a court motion to compel former President Trump to release millions in disaster relief funds that have been inaccessible since February 7. They argue that the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s funding freeze is hindering vital programs for wildfire prevention, flood mitigation, and disaster preparedness, which are essential for public health and safety. The coalition is seeking enforcement of a restraining order issued by Judge John J. McConnell Jr. on January 31.
