Monica Nigon reports on a volunteer event following the screening of “Thinking Like Water.” On September 20, volunteers built Zeedyk structures, a method for restoring watersheds, at Turkey Springs. This initiative, part of Nigon’s master’s project, aims to tackle erosion and improve water management. The structures proved effective during recent heavy rains by slowing water flow and preventing further damage.
