Los Angeles has launched a new online Disaster Relief Navigator to assist those affected by recent wildfires. Created by Mayor Karen Bass and the Mayor’s Fund, the site provides personalized action plans based on individual needs related to specific fire zones. The user-friendly platform guides users through a series of prompts addressing needs such as housing, food, income loss, and ID replacement. Mayor Bass emphasized her commitment to helping residents through their recovery, noting that in-person Disaster Recovery Centers have already assisted over 5,000 families. The online tool aims to make support more accessible. For more information, visit the LA Disaster Relief Navigator website.
