Community members are urged to adhere to burn bans and promote fire safety by reporting risky activities. Engine boss trainee Colby Gibbs advised creating defensible spaces around homes to reduce fire risks. The state is enhancing support through funding and technology. A fire safety program, “Living with Fire,” is planned for the public at the Granada Theater.
