Saskatchewan has launched a public survey as part of an independent review of its 2025 wildfire season, aimed at gathering experiences and feedback from affected residents. Conducted by MNP, the survey will run from December 19, 2025, to January 30, 2026, and will help improve future wildfire mitigation, preparedness, and response. Responses are anonymous and will solely be accessed by MNP. The review will also involve assessing existing processes and engaging with affected communities, producing a report before the 2026 wildfire season. The 2025 season was notably severe, prompting this essential review.
